Regional Synod Mission Statement
The Regional Synod of Canada is one of eight regional synods of the Reformed Church in America. Our call is to join with the Spirit – and all our partners – in mobilizing people and churches for mission in our unique Canadian context. For the glory of God and the sake of the world.
RCA Mission Statement
The Reformed Church in America is a fellowship of congregations called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be the very presence of Jesus Christ in the world.
Our shared task is to equip congregations for ministry--a thousand churches in a million ways doing one thing--following Christ in mission, in a lost and broken world so loved by God.

Our BeliefsWe believe in the historic Christian faith as confessed by believers through the ages. The Reformed church accepts the three universal creeds which arose in the early church: the Apostles Creed, the Athanasian Creed, and the Nicene Creed. In addition to these creeds there are four confessional statements which set forth the faith of the Reformed Church: the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort and the Confession of Belhar. In 1978 the Reformed Church approved Our Song of Hope as a contemporary statement of faith in its ministry of witness, teaching, and worship. |
