The average congregation in North America will have 80 people worshiping and serving together this weekend. These congregations, often labeled as "small," are the norm in North American Christianity.
There is much to celebrate in the work of small congregations across Canada. Smaller churches are often highly relational groups which disciple and mentor people into spiritual maturity. Smaller churches are often quick to partner with their neighborhood to bless their community. It's also true that smaller churches often share similar struggles with other small churches, whether in cities or in rural towns.

Join me for a learning circle of encouragement and collaboration
among pastors in similar settings. We will be reading Karl Vaters' book Small Church Essentials and putting it into practice over the course of several online meetings. I look forward to a time of mutual equipping and prayer for you and your ministry! |
